For our in-house engineering team, we are looking for a: Project Portfolio Manager

You will help to create and shape an innovative product that will revolutionize farm management as we know it. As a Project Portfolio Manager, you will work in a diverse environment and help developing innovative solutions for complex challenges.


Your responsibility:

  • Implementing project management’s best practices in order to improve efficiency in project execution and project reporting
  • Create a collaborative partnership among project stakeholders and enables resource demand planning, change management, and project pipeline planning decisions
  • Facilitate the governance and project status review meetings; identify and quantify variances, complete any required corrective actions, and communicate to all stakeholders
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and re-forecasting for projects and programs within the portfolio
  • Provide transparency to portfolio investments, manages the financials, and works with engineering team and relevant stakeholders to review forecasting against budgets
  • Oversee assigned staff (on a direct and indirect basis) on multiple related projects and ongoing operations directed towards a common objective and affecting three or more businesses or functional areas
  • Ensure program and project level “lessons learned” activities are conducted
  • Work on project proposals with clients and manage the project funnel
  • Write project stories that can shared in blog posts
  • Ensure project compliance requirements for public funding (e.g. H2020) is managed appropriately

You offer:

  • University degree in business IT, Management Information Systems or related fields
  • Minimum three years with portfolio management and managing mid-sized information technology projects through agile and/or waterfall
  • Strong analytical, mathematical and conceptual skills combined with result oriented and problem solving capabilities
  • Strong writing and project marketing skills  
  • Demonstrated project portfolio management skills
  • Facilitation in governance, project reviews, steering, and other project related meetings
  • Strong focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service
  • Proficiency in English and German
